BC Council of Garden Clubs executive committee has confirmed two speakers for the event:

Amanda Smith from Langley Environmental Partners Society will talk about winter gardening, focusing especially on the importance of healthy soil

Manii from Arts Nursery in Port Kells will talk to us about xeriscaping in your garden – planting drought resistant plants.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University Farm School will be on hand to do a presentation on the benefits of receiving BC Council of Garden Clubs scholarship funds for their horticultural students.

We will have some shopping for you at the event and are working on the catering at this time also – making sure there is vegetarian options included and of course, dessert!
