On Monday, October 21, Thierry Vrain will be the guest speaker at the CV Hort. Society meeting. Thierry will share video clips during his presentation which explain the complexity of ‘Life in the Soil’. Thierry lives in the Comox Valley and teaches online classes on Biofilia in association with Innisfree Farms.

Thierry is a retired soil biologist and genetic engineer, spending his entire 30-year research career with Agriculture Canada. He was the head of a research group of 40 professionals in Biotechnology, the Vice President and President of national and international associations of soil biologists, and an Associate Editor of several scientific Journals in Europe and the US.

There’s lots going on at the October meeting, not only is there an excellent speaker but there’s also the Annual General Meeting. Join us in bringing a Food Bank donation so we can help those in need in our community.
