| Organization's Profile: | Our purpose is the advancement of horticulture and its many branches, particularly the beautification of our homes and surroundings. Our club started in 1947 with the motto 'Show what you grow. Share what you know." We have monthly meetings with judged flower shows, educational speakers and question period. We take one or two Bus trips a year and a member's garden tour. We have an active floral art group within the garden club that donates Christmas arrangements to care homes in the area at Christmas. |
