| Meeting time and location: | We meet on 7:30pm on the third Friday of each month except in January, July, August and December in the Cedar Room at Vandusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak Street, Vancouver. |
| Organization's Profile: | Our purpose is the enjoyment, education and promotion of shade gardening. We are a shady mix of avid gardeners, who have patios, balconies and/or gardens in shade, part-shade or full shade. These less than sunny growing conditions lead us to explore the large variety of plants that thrive in the shade. Our annual show is our club's opportunity to show-off our members' beautifully grown shade plants to the public. We often have a speaker and/or presentation at our monthly meetings. We have a lending library for members featuring books related to shade gardening or specific shade plants. Tours of local gardens and parks as well as social and fund-raising events are scheduled throughout the year. Come join us. We're foliage-friendly. |
