Meeting Time and Location:

Special events are held in the gardening season for members. We have no regular meeting and our AGM is held in September.

Organization's Profile:

The purpose of the group is to promote water conservation in the cultivated landscape through education, examples and activities. The Okanagan Xeriscape Association (OXA) is a not-for-profit organization formed in 2009 to provide xeriscape gardening information to the Okanagan Valley. We hold special events in the gardening season for members. We offer hands-on workshops, classes and public presentations. The website includes a searchable database of over 400 plant varieties in 23 search categories, a photo gallery, resource lists of books and web sites and xeriscape gardening tips. In 2010 we created he 4,000 square good unH2O Xeriscape Demonstration Garden at 4075 Gordon Drive, Kelowna. It is maintained by our volunteers and is the site of our annual plant sale. Memberships are available on the website and at our events.

Special Events:

Our Annual Xeriscape Plant Sale is held in the unH20 Xeriscape garden in late spring (please see events for the date and time). Free guided tours are held approximately every 6 weeks in the growing season at unH2O Xeriscape Demonstration Garden, 4075 Gorden Drive, Kelowna. Contact to be on the mailing notification list.
