| Meeting Time and Location: | The Mission Garden Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm from Sept to May, in the Hall of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 32550 7th Avenue. The Hall entrance is down the outdoor stairs on the left side of the Sanctuary. The meetings include a speaker presentation and discussion, offering a range of topics to enhance gardening knowledge. For anyone who has difficulty managing the stairway, very limited parking is available at the entrance doors which can be accessed by driving down the gravel driveway in front of the Food Bank building. For the summer months of June, July and August we arrange for tours of some of our club members gardens. December we have a Pot-luck Dinner Christmas Party. Membership fees are $20 per year; drop-in guests are welcomed at $5.00 per meeting. |
| Organization's Profile: | We are a small, friendly club meeting monthly. There is a speaker at each meeting chosen according to the interests of the group. Time is always available for discussions and coffee. Our very popular plant sale is held in early May. In addition to the summer garden tours we try to arrange a field trip or two during the year. |
