Meeting time and location:

We have an Annual General meeting in December, Board meeting 3 to 4 times a year and work parties scheduled at members convenience.

Organization's Profile:

We promote food security and provide growing space in the city. We are a group of community members with garden plots individually and common areas as groups to grow and share food. We constantly share knowledge about growing and promoting food security. We garden on public land, making the neighbourhood safer and more beautiful. We donate food to the senior's lunch program at the local neighbourhood house. We have bee hives for pollination, honey production and preservation of these species, as well as education for our members and the neighbourhood.

Special Events:

We have a Spring Fling, usually a May plant and bake sale and party, a Fall Chowdown - usually in September and a Harvest Meal in the garden.
