- Container Gardening – a.k.a. The Pot Garden. Not that kind of pot garden! Whether you are trying to make the best of a small urban space, need to have a portable garden because you rent or just don’t want to deal with starting a garden from scratch learn how to make the most out of your container gardening experience.
- The 3 R’s of Gardening- Reduce, Recycle, Reuse. Fun and creative ideas and tips for upcycling common everyday household items to enhance your gardening experience. After this class you will not only feel like you are some kind of eco-hero every time you save something from going to the land fill but will also have a ton of ideas to implement that will save you money to help you to stretch your plant buying budget.
- Unusual Tropical Houseplants on the Cheap! Sometimes a non-gardening spouse or significant other thinks that you should be spending more money on groceries than houseplants. Luckily this presentation also includes a segment on edible houseplants. Or maybe you think you were born to be a curator of houseplants, but your budget says different. Either way, learn how to source tropical plants and seeds for next to nothing, and gain access to the resources and information that you will need to fill up your house with tropical houseplants grown by you. These houseplants will be so cheap that even Serial Plant Killers won’t be worried, as they will learn to easily grow more.
- Grow your Own Craft Supplies. Sometimes a non-gardening spouse or significant other also thinks that you should be spending more money on groceries than on craft supplies. Or maybe you have a home-based business and need to cut down on the cost of your botanical supplies. Either way this class will teach you how to grow beautiful botanical craft supplies for very little money.
- Fairies, Trolls, Dinosaurs and Drones. Creative gardening ideas to encourage future generations of gardeners! Gardening is not only about the work, but imagination should also play a part. This presentation is filled with plenty of imaginative ideas for inspiring toddlers as well as teenagers to get involved with gardening and to build memories with you that will last a lifetime.
- Seed Saving Essentials. Plants create seeds to ensure their next generation thrives, and we can help them along! Learn the important skills of saving, cleaning and storing seeds and how to maintain and use your seed collection to it’s best advantage.
