Speaker Profile | My name is Deborah Chud and I'm a Massachusetts landscape design consultant and educator with a special area of expertise--the work of Piet Oudolf. I have given presentations to the following groups: DBG and TBG both have Oudolf-designed sections, and I am currently collaborating with TBG on a multi-session online course to coincide with the restoration of their Oudolf Entry Walk. After my talk, DBG's Director of Horticulture said I had "completely decoded" Piet's approach for him. Last summer, I was invited by Noel Kingsbury (Oudolf's frequent co-author and explainer-in-chief) to present my 5 years of Oudolf research at an international workshop entitled, “Piet Oudolf: How Does He Do It?” In addition, I recently gave a 6-session in-depth course on Oudolf's Design Principles to 30+ people, including 6 professional landscape designers. |
