CV Horticultural Society Meeting: November 16, 2026
Where: Via Zoom
What Time: 7pm
Speaker: Sean Rustemeyer
Topic: All you need to know about caring for your tools
Website: https://comoxvalleyhortsociety.ca
On Monday, November 16, Sean Rustemeyer will be the guest speaker at the CV Hort. Society’s Zoom meeting. Sean will share the basics of cleaning and sharpening your own garden tools – from secateurs, shears and loppers to digging and weeding tools – plus the techniques and products that keep them working like new.
Sean’s love of nature began growing up next door to a forest. Today he owns Soil ‘N Green Landscaping in Nanaimo. He trained in Ecological Landscape Design and Master Gardening with Gaia College and recently completed PlantAmnesty’s Master Pruner Program in Seattle. His work favours zero-emission battery-powered equipment, native plant gardens that boost biodiversity, and gardening without synthetic pesticides.
This will be our last meeting of 2026 – we’ll be back in the New Year with Brian Minter as our first guest speaker of 2027.
Want to attend? Join us via Zoom at 7pm. See below for registration details.
