Speaker Directory

The BC Council of Garden Clubs has compiled a list of speakers who are willing to speak to garden clubs and organizations on various garden related topics. While this list is fairly comprehensive, it does not contain all the names of knowledgeable speakers in BC. If you would like to suggest a name for this list or if you wish to have your name added to this list, please contact the Speaker List Coordinator.

Please note the following:

  • The BC Council of Garden Clubs does not accept any responsibility for the quality or the content of any presentation by these individuals.
  • It is the responsibility of the gardening organization to negotiate the terms of the presentation with the speaker (including topic, travel and expenses, fees, etc.)
  • Fees listed are provided as guideline and are subject to change at the discretion of the speaker without notice to the Council.

Speaker Profile

Laurelle has been helping people get excited about gardening for over 30 years. She is a retired landscape designer and installer and an all round crazy plant lady! She is a eber of the BC Fruit Testers and has a passion for Heritage Apples and is still grafting varieties to add to her farm. She now lives in Yarrow and grows a glorious array of not your usual cut flowers as well as some of the old fashioned favourites that she sells in her flower shop on wheels aka 'Gloria the Flower Truck'. She also help out the equally plant crazy team at Art's Nursery with their social media posts and has a ridiculous amount of fun doing that! She would love to speak with your amazing gardeners and up and coming green thumbs about all things gardening and how we can make a big impact in helping out Mother Nature!
