The curious world of carnivorous plants:

Hey there, I'm Theresa, and I've been obsessed with plants for over 25 years now! I’ve spent my whole life in the Lower Mainland and have been growing (and occasionally killing🤣) carnivorous plants for the last 20 of them. Fortunately, I’ve learned a lot over that time and have figured out not only how to keep them alive but how to get them to truly thrive!

My ultimate goal is to turn my passion for carnivorous plants into an educational experience for anyone curious about them. I want to share my knowledge, bust some myths, and introduce these amazing plants to as many people as I can.

It all started with a single tropical sundew in my kitchen window. I was absolutely fascinated by its dewy texture and its ability to trap and eat fruit flies. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to find and learn about as many carnivorous plants as possible!

Now, I care for and breed over 30 different varieties of Venus fly traps, sundews and sarracenia pitcher plants! I’d love for you all to join me on this wild ride through the curious world of carnivorous plants!
