The BC Council of Garden Clubs has compiled a list of speakers who are willing to speak to garden clubs and organizations on various garden related topics. While this list is fairly comprehensive, it does not contain all the names of knowledgeable speakers in BC. If you would like to suggest a name for this list or if you wish to have your name added to this list, please contact the Speaker List Coordinator.

  • The BC Council of Garden Clubs does not accept any responsibility for the quality or the content of any presentation by these individuals.
  • It is the responsibility of the gardening organization to negotiate the terms of the presentation with the speaker (including topic, travel and expenses, fees, etc.)

Speaker Profile

Paul has been working and volunteering in the Metro Vancouver landscape industry in many facets including Retail garden center, Wholesale and Production nursery, Landscape maintenance and installation (Self Employed Landscaper), High value landscape maintenance team manager, Arboriculture worker and Team manager, Pond construction, Landscape design, Public speaking and Arboretum tours.

Paul has one multiple awards in the industry including 2003 BCLNA young member of the year, 2010 BCLNA Member of the year, 2015 BCLNA Garden Communicator of the Year and 2020 Bartlett Tree Experts Arborist Representative Rookie of the year - Canada.

Willing to discuss topics other than the ones listed in the profile, with a broad knowledge base after on the job experience with so many facets of the industry.

Speaking to most of the Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Squamish garden clubs over the last 20 years has been enjoyable and fulfilling, in addition Paul regularly leads Tree walks at the former BC Arboretum, the Riverview hospital site, səmiq̓ʷəʔelə since 2004.

A regular volunteer in the industry and public, Paul has many colleagues also on the speakers list.
